Today I’ll be sharing random swatches of two Revlon nail polish from my untrieds, and I have a crazy ton of them. I don’t even know why I keep buying more when I have two storage boxes crammed with pretties, practically begging me to swatch them already. 😀
Today I have another polish collection to share with you, “Hope & Freedom Fest” collection by Orly. Consists of 2 cremes, 2 shimmers, and 2 jelly glitters.
Check out the swatches I did after the jump. Along with the nail art I did with them. I did these for quite a while now. I was a bit procrastinating and haven’t posted them on blog right away. 🙂
Oh, haiii. I’m here again. I have here another collection to share to you. This is the “Yogurt Nails” collection from The Face Shop. I originally got the yellow one first for P185, more or less $4. One look at it, and I fell in love! So of course I have to get the whole collection, good thing the TFS store near my place restocked their polishes so I got the other bottles. And get this, I got them at P150 a piece. I think the ladies at the store got the prices mixed up on my earlier purchase coz apparently they charged me more than they should have. The outlet I’m pertaining to is at Robinson’s Galleria.
Anyway, here are the swatches now. Enjoy! 🙂
So as promised, I’ll have some posts up. Buuut, warning, this is packed with pictures. As I decided to just put all these polishes together as they’re all from the same collection. Any who, here I give you Face It “Colored Paper Nails” collection, from The Face Shop. Got them for P295 each, or roughly $7 a piece. They’re all so pretty, I couldn’t get just one! If you’re following me on Instagram, I posted pictures of my hauls. This is part of my (extended) birthday haul. lol 😀
When I saw the theme for the challenge, I non-consciously thought of Fast Five! Haha. I looove Fast and Furious movies, but the 5th one, I’ve watched it over and over and over and still can’t get enough of it. Well, since I can’t do detailed nail art, particularly faces, for the life of me… I tried to copy the movie logo instead. 😀
My take on the theme floral for May nail art challenge. Fun and easy flower nail art, all I used was the polish brush itself. Well, except for the black stripes that is. This mani was inspired by @jamylyn_nails on IG. 🙂
I added designs over my previous mani. Actually at the time I did this, I don’t even know where I was really going with it. Someone from IG just suggested that I apply red glitter gradient on the upper part. Then I added a palm tree as an accent coz my mani kind of reminded me of a sunset in summer by the beach. Though I didn’t try to draw the beach/shore even just in black paint, I was still experiencing a bad hair (nails) day that time, even my glitter gradient didn’t go as how I want it to be. But, oh well…
So I’m bored this afternoon and decided to gather all my untrieds, to swatch, and re-swatch polishes.
I’m on a serious “no buy” since March 1 up to now (not only coz I’m trying to control myself, but also I hate spending more than what I really have. I’m a bum, so yeah, very limited resources.) so I have no idea how I ended up with all these. I mean I know I’m adding bottle after bottle of polish in my stash, but I haven’t thought it would be this many.
Some were bought for me by a friend, some I bought just before March, some were bought by mom’s assistant and some I picked up when we went grocery shopping (Mom pays for them, so that’s still a “no buy” for me. Lol) and some were given to me coz she can’t bring all her polishes to her new home (Yes I accept relief polishes! Lol So if you ever wanna give out some polishes, put me on top of your lists please? Haha)
So now, my question is… How can I swatch all these without drying out my hands from too much polish remover?
I’m thinking of using glue as base coat so I could just peel them off, but that would take forever to dry.
Hmm, suggestions from anyone?
Xx — A.
Yes, I’m such a mani recycler. Guilty as charged. Lol
Kept it simple but pretty by adding glitters to it.
So, more water marble mani from me. Lol I actually entered my last two marble mani to a contest on IG, my other mani (this) made it as a finalist! Yay! But nah, I’m not expecting to win. The other 9 finalists are too awesome compared to mine.
Well, anyway, here’s my rainbow marble mani. 🙂
Have you ever tried to do water marble mani? Aren’t they gorgeous! But it does make a mess, right? And not to mention, you’ll need a hell of a lot of tape. Have you ever wondered if there’s an easier (and cleaner) way to marble your nails?
Well, actually I think there is… I found a way to make it easier for me. I made the marbled design to sort of a decal thing, and thought I’d share how. 🙂
Here’s my take for the theme “braided” for the April nail art challenge.
First time to try the fishtail mani.
A random re-swatch of polish.
OMG (Oh My Golly) crystal sand nail polish in Opal.
So here’s a picture tutorial I made just to show you guys how I made my “most dramatic mani” in my nail life, yet. Lol See my previous post on why. 😀
