When I saw the theme for the challenge, I non-consciously thought of Fast Five! Haha. I looove Fast and Furious movies, but the 5th one, I’ve watched it over and over and over and still can’t get enough of it. Well, since I can’t do detailed nail art, particularly faces, for the life of me… I tried to copy the movie logo instead. 😀
My take on the theme floral for May nail art challenge. Fun and easy flower nail art, all I used was the polish brush itself. Well, except for the black stripes that is. This mani was inspired by @jamylyn_nails on IG. 🙂
A quick and easy nail art over a swatch.
Inspired by the sweet Tracy (@mentalmoma) on Instagram. You just can never go wrong with leopard print mani.
Okaaay, so yeah, I’ve been away and hadn’t posted anything for ages. One, didn’t feel like talking (typing) much, and two, self issues. Or I think that’s just the same thing. So any who, I’m here now. 🙂 And I have more than a dozen (again) draft posts, in which I’ll be posting all today, or tomorrow, as best I could. But anyway I update my Instagram (almost) daily, probably coz I can just post there straight from my phone. So if you wanna find me there…
So let’s get started then. Here’s a mani I did for the April nail art challenge, matching OOTD (Outfit of the day). Though I was just staying home and my outfit was just tank top and shorts, so nothing really fab, I still managed to be inspired somehow by the shorts I was wearing. Lol
San San in Cloudy Gray.
This was actually my very first San San nail polish. I really liked the formula, which made me buy more from them. 🙂
So I have here another polish swatch, it’s San San nail polish in Metallic Lilac.
I’ve had this polish for like two months now, but this would only be the first time that I’ll use it. I’m starting to dig through my untried polishes, good thing I’m still on a “no buy” coz I already have a pile of bottles waiting for me to try them out. 😀
I added designs over my previous mani. Actually at the time I did this, I don’t even know where I was really going with it. Someone from IG just suggested that I apply red glitter gradient on the upper part. Then I added a palm tree as an accent coz my mani kind of reminded me of a sunset in summer by the beach. Though I didn’t try to draw the beach/shore even just in black paint, I was still experiencing a bad hair (nails) day that time, even my glitter gradient didn’t go as how I want it to be. But, oh well…
